Day1
Firstly, I try to take the picture from my partner, because I want to do something about thee different cultures (the things that do in Europe is normal while it's weird to do in Asia ),but I have no idea how to show in the picture.
I asked my partner in touching her body parts and try to make it into a series while it does look well, it doesn't look interesting to me.
So I took pictures of myself, I lay on the ground and lay on the desk that people don't usually do, while it doesn't look well too.
One of the pic is I interested in, the one that my partner using a cell phone to look at herself, so I think it will be interesting to using something like ex: mirror, cellphone etc... to look at myself
I have drew down some ideas that how can I not only take pictures from different angles but also adding fashion into the picture.
Day2
I had try to take the pictures of different angles with the mirror yesterday.
After the tutorial I found out it’s more interesting for taking pictures of myself (the one that I did yesterday is just testing , I will like to taking pictures of models ).But why?because after the testing and the research I did, I can tell that I fell different between taking pictures of of myself and taking pictures from model, I think it feels more emotions but not only pretty images.
To develop more, I test a lot in my room(because I think it's a personal place ), I tried on the bed with all the messy clothes around me while I didn't wearing shirt(i want to show that why u can't even be myself in the personal place)
After that, have developed my idea. I try to do things that is about ”why I should follow the rules?”
While I found out the problem, the image that I took is only ”photography ”but not fashion .
I did the research and I found out makeup design is a part of styling, and for me make up is very important to showing personal style and in fashion.
I want to focus on my face and do the make up on my face, I tried to do the make up not people usually do for everyday, I try to make it like art and can mapping my feelings.
What I want to do at first:
-taking the picture from the model
-focus on clothes (culture, traditional clothing)
-playing with mirror or cellphones
What I want to do after testing
-taking picture of myself
-focus on my face
-makeup design
-playing with mirror (just like how I look myself)
Day3
I found out only taking pictures is boring, what can do to make the series like a story?
I add the time line in the text that we need to put with the picture
The time for a day, how a girl with backup and without mackup.
And the feed back is good to.(most of the people like timelines )
While that I found out not all the people understand my purpose,people think that he text I wrote ”with or without make up , I look good”is mean that with make up>no make up, but that isn't what I wan to convey.
The purpose is about be myself .with no makeup, with dramatic backup is how people show themselves.(the propose is developed by the classmate that doing about body hair )after understand the purpose of his work make me want to develop my work not only about culture but also about talking personal information.
I drew the flower on my face, its means ”no matter how I look like, I'm still beautiful”
I think I should be more focused on on the makeup(to chance the light, or high light it)or audience can't really get the information from the make up.
