DAY1-OCT8
Thinking about collection of objects, people, moments and memories- things you can and cant see.
I have collect sounds-to ask people what they want to say to themselves,while it a challenge for me to explore it into an art work,so I choose to do something we can see around us,and something we 'see every but but we use to it'.
CCTV is what I decide to do and I really want to do, I have tray to take lots of picture on the road and want to make it into my art work, inn the sketchbook I have drew lots of CCTV together to explore my idea,I want to make them into 3D and put them all around the classroom , let people feel like being watching.
While I found out its too illustrated ,I have to explore more(not just put CCTV or camera on the wall).
DAY2-OCT9
I didn't go to school (I' M ILL) so I have spend some time to think about what I did yesterday.
Just like what I think, my first thinking is vertical thinking,I have to think different way to display my idea.
I decide to collect lot of people on the road, in alley ,in the kitchen,in the room.To take the picture which just like monitor.
AFTER
At first, I had taken the picture in the flat(toilet, kitchen, room....), while I found out it doesn't work well, its look so common and audience feedback don't feel very scared or worried about it.
So I had tried to take the picture from the stranger on the road. At first, I thought its difficult, while it's not. I found out that people don't feel strange or disagree when I took the picture of everyone.
I want to let the image feel like someone is staring at you while you don't know(its a very scary feeling), so I have tried to edit my work into black and white and paint the person with red(just like target the person)
To make it real(just like CCTV screen), I had added the time and date on the bottom of the image, it means that stranger can look at lots of different places in the same time.
DAY3-OCT11
The purpose of my work---
people already use to expose under the camera .Stranger can easily know what you are doing on the internet ,government can use cctv to track every thing you did.
I have took lot of photos from people(that I don't know) on the road yesterday, while no one argue about what I did(no one alerting).
CCTV is for safity but camera from stranger isn't, most of the time we don't know we been track or be seen in the personal place.
Camera can be different meaning in different way,depends how we want to use.
what people feelwhen thet see my art work
(I have put an ipad t o pretend we are be watching)
-I feel uncomfortable when I see the picture(picture I took) ,and see myself on live while I didn't agree with it.
-Its so real, I don't want to be on live but I can't turn it off
-(while someone like to be seen on live and he keep dancing in front of my ipad)
-(someone just put there hand in front of the camera try to hide from camera)
We don't know what others going to do with the picture/ video,so we still need to be alert in front of camera.
