WEAR IT/ DAY1 - SEP 24
Depression is the topic I choose today.I used paper to pretend blood pour out from neck and surround the head .The porpuse I want to show is about people who suicide because of depression.Blood surround the head means patient can’t escape from afraid and distressed,if no one help them ,they will be trapped in the blood cage forever.
At first ,I want to use knitting wool with glue to form the shape,while there was no time for me to do it,so I choose to use paper,and I think it’s harder because it’s can’t really be that fluent (like blood). Although it’s a big challenge for me ,but I still do as best as I can.
I used wire to warp on model’s neck to pretend patient who got suffered by depression;using some wire to support paper to surround on the face.l had cut the end of the paper into tessel,and make it just like blood pour out the body.
I think my work isn’t good enough. I have a good idea, while I couldn’t achieve the greatest of the material I used.
In my opinion,paper is a very useful material; so I have to practice more harder so that I can do best work in time.

I'm enjoying the poster design, so I have made the image like an advertisement. I add the text so that audience can understand what is the purpose of the work.

EXPLORE IT/ DAY2 - SEP 25
Before the class, I thought product design is boring and I won’t be good at it,while after the class I think it’s interesting.(but it’s still not my choice)
I think product should be designed by “less is more”,so I want my work be simple and graceful.I try to use as less materials as I can to finish my work,and it was a big challenge.Most of works I using paper to be the material,but I using stick to make product for lemon,and that’s my favorite.
Making stick into triangle to make a the base,the base is hollow so that lemon can be clutched in the middle of triangle.Using string to tie up each corner of the triangle so that lemon can be hang on the wall.
The idea is simple and adorable,people can hang different fruit full of the wall and it can be apart of decorate,too.
The most important things that I learn in product design is thinking about what people and user really need.Trying to observe and keep reflecting idea that is simple but you can show the idea explicitly to customers.
BUILD IT/ DAY3 - SEP 27
I tried hard on it but it’s just not my type.
It is interesting to making model of the building.Our Building could be a museum or a pavilion in the park.Although teacher seems don’t like it and said it’s like a Christmas tree,but I still think it’s a beautiful work.
We using tape to pretend the roof,you may imagine how it will swing when the wind blow throw the roof.
But seems that my group don’t really like team work.There were 8 people in my group one of the people using cellphones all the class and didn’t help anything (she didn’t help anything but she took the picture after we finished the work,shame on her !)
And most of the people just gone in last 1 hour
I know we don’t like architecture but I tried my best,I tried to finished the work as well as I can,so I wish next time I can have better “group mate” to work together.
At least I know I’m not interested in architecture
