the photographer didn't decorate a lot, the image is simple and clear that he wants to show the shoes for the audience.
That is why I like the image simple, clear and have the point.

The image let me think about not only artwork but also fashion communication, although the model didn't show her face, but the artist still using styling in his artwork.
Colorful balloons, zebra, and jungle make me feel like in Africa. I would like to try using symbols in my work (etc:flag=culture is too obvious), I think it will be more interesting and the audience can also think about what the story in my work.

I try to find some artist is connected to styling.
I choose this work because I like something gorgeous and like the fairytale.
The makeup is dramatic and storytelling, it's very different from the makeup which from the magazine.
I would like to try using 'story' but not only beauty image in my own work and I will like to experiment with the ways that different materials( makeup: cosmetics, ink, plastic etc...) can show imperfections.

This is the self-portrait work. He took the picture of the self, he naked while without penis and with braid. the image is clear and simple that he wants to show he is being he self, and the last image is he with his mom,I think he want to show that his mom support he and still love him.
(After doing the research I decided to take the picture of myself) I like the work is because of the last image, although it doesn't have lots of decorates, I can get the strong image that he is showing himself and his mom still give him lots of love.

I think the work is telling a bride who doesn't want to get married.
The wedding should be joyful and blessed, while the bride inside the image looks sad distressed.
She has another series" Beyond the Perfect Image ", I think the purpose of the work is similar, she wants to transmit that nothing should be perfect, the reality is never perfect.
The image is touching because it is "true", it shows the situation that will happen in real life.
I would like to try using imperfections in my own work, I believe it will be difficult because no one wants to see something isn't beautiful, while I want to do something I didn't do before.

This artist's work makes me think about the picture don't have to be always "beautiful".
I am wondering if this is about people don't have to be perfect all the time, people can just be yourself.
Maybe the artist using makeup to make herself be beautiful, while this kind of beauty isn't acceptability by the public.
I would like to try using different beauty.

The poster makes the image more fun
different from others fashion advertisement, they using collage and photoshop. I think it can be self-portraits because I can see the girl in the mirror, and the hand is grown from the fancy bags. I think it means that Fancy bags mean the girl.

Most of Renate Bertlmann's works are about sex.
I think these series want to talk about "why people shouldn't talk about sex?"
people have to cover their face when they do or talk related to "sexual" ( the image shows that people can't do this two things at the same time)
I'm not sure this artwork want to transmit that only female cant do the thing or both of the gender, while in some culture they have penis envy, it means that they prefer to be a boy but not a girl. Especially in some traditional country (or culture), the male can get more benefit than women(vote, discussion etc...)
