James merry's works are detailed and fancy. (I LOVE IT!)
Most of his works are masks (on the face, nose, eyes etc...)
He loves using flowers, feathers in his work, make the work become fancy.
he said"I bought loads of silicon and weird materials, locked myself in my room for two days, and set up what looked like a meth lab. I think the cleaners thought I was building a bomb"
I agree with he using 'weird materials', for me it means that people can create things that aren't normal and different from others.
jewelry should be only on the finger, neck or wrist; it can be on the butt, check or eyebrows. Nothing should be defined, a designer should jump out the box and think wider.
I should try this kind of thinking so that I can create and explore more different things.(maybe make a 2.5D poster or interactive poster, who said poster have to be flat?)

the jewelry don't have to he wearing all the time.most of the people might think this art work is scary, while it's elegant for me.
It let me know that jewelry don't have to me opposite, I can use scars or blood in my art work.
Philip Treacy
Butterfly headdress of hand-painted turkey feathers La Dame Bleue
The art work is made for Isabella Blow.
Isabella Blow commits suicide is the reason why Philip Treacy and Alexander Mcqueen dedicate the show.
Its not just a hat ,it's an art work. Butterflies are so real that flying around the head, the hat isn't fit on the head, the hat adopts a very peculiar way to create a special perception.

I like the idea that the designer try to solve the issue of no space, try to make more space for people to put items put keep the space look clean and tidy.
what I research

Takamitsu Azuma-Tower House
Takamitsu Azuma daughter “When completes it was the ‘skyscraper’ of Jingumane, nowadays it’s a miniature house”
Build in 1966,it’s a very small polt of land. The house grows around the stairs six levels up to provide 65square meters of living space.
Tower house is a house that Takamitsu built for his family, their is no any door in the house. I think the reason why he didn’t built any door is because “family connection”
Without door seems to be a little bit annoying ,maybe sound from TV will interference people studying, no privacy space etc But in my opinion, people can learn how to respect others and conversation ,especially family.
Some people don’t talk with family or sometimes we can’t really understand what family’s thinking or what they want to tell us,or sometime people just close the heart door and don’t even want to talk with family. Without door make people have to learn how to “listen”and “speak”.Although there is no door ,but we still can give others their own space and give respect.
Without door make small house feel “big “ too! Some time people don’t really need a huge house,Interior design can make you feel comfortable in a small space.
CHRISTO AND JANNE-CLAUDE:The mastaba
Using lots of stacked barrels to make a sculpture in public. A trapezoidal pyramid of 7,506 painted and horizontally stacked barrels, it’s 66 feet tall.
the word “mastaba” means “bench” in Arabic, while actually its tomb in Eygpt.
Tomb should be scary while the artist using lots of different colors of stacked barrels to finish the work.
I think he wants to make it be humor, make it bombastic and simple and not intimidating.
However, this big public art makes everyone in the park feel happy.
I would like to add more "humor" in my artwork, try to make a sad and dark story be interesting.
Japanese house
most of the Japanese Architectes is simple.
